Another slide show, but this time for Dustin, one of my class of 2012 senior models. I LOVE Dustin’s style. Love, love, love! This was a fun shoot where we continued shooting after the sun went down. And the dumpster! One of my favorite images is the one near the end of the slide show where he is in a dumpster. I wouldn’t have put a lot of people in that dumpster, but Dustin made it look fierce. That dumpster is no longer available, by the way. The owners put a gate around it! Bummer, right? I love doing senior portraits in Ocean Springs and I’m always on the look out for little nooks and crannies that will make for awesome portraits.

Jordan and I did this session last year, but I thought it would be fun to put it into a video slide show. Jordan is one of my Biloxi High School Class of 2012 senior models. We are going to do her senior portraits on my next trip to MS, and I can’t wait!

Hi there! Where have I been? Well, let me tell you! First, after a five year wait we were matched with a beautiful baby girl in China. And then I went to China to pick up this beautiful baby girl and now I’m getting used to life with a VERY active 14 month old baby! Guess what? A 14 month old needs a lot more attention than a 7 year old. I thought I knew this, but I now know that I didn’t really appreciate just how much attention a 14 month old needs!
But I’m back and even though I’m a bit late this year, I’m gearing up to launch the call for my 2012 Senior Models! A couple of weeks back, we took to the roads of Ocean Springs, MS to shoot Caitlyn’s senior portrait. And did we have a good time! Yes, we were nearly consumed by bugs (ouch!), but it was worth it, because Caitlyn’s images are some of my all time faves. We were lucky enough to have the amazing Mallory Fitzgerald there to do Caitlyn’s makeup (so much fun!) and Caitlyn showed up with a fantastic wardrobe and the funnest accessories. I had a blast hanging out with Caitlyn and her mom, Rhonda, so much so that it was like hanging out with friends for the evening. It doesn’t get any better than that!
So today is the gorgeous Miss Caitlyn’s birthday and I want to wish her the happiest of birthdays and to this year being the best year ever. She is on the cusp of a whole new life….graduating high school (D’Iberville High School) and starting college and I know that she is going to do amazing things! Without a doubt! Happy birthday, girl! xoxox
